The Arena Powerskin Air3 LE (open back) is a premium women's competition swimsuit from the Limited Edition collection, designed for competitive swimmers who seek a combination of lightweight feel, compression, freedom of movement and hydrodynamic positioning in the water. The Air3 is developed based on Arena Carbon technology, and the ultra-light material with integrated carbon fibers provides targeted compression and stability where it is needed most, while maintaining very good flexibility.

Open Back for maximum freedom of movement

The open back construction is especially suitable for swimmers who value freedom of movement in the shoulders and upper body. The construction allows for a more natural rotation of the shoulders during all swimming techniques, while the competition cut remains tight to the body. The specially designed FLEXMAX shoulder straps adapt to body movements and reduce pressure on the shoulders. This achieves greater freedom of movement without sacrificing the necessary stability during the race.

Compression and body position control

Carbon fibers are integrated into the material to create targeted compression where additional support is needed. The result is a more stable feel and support during the swim. The Air3 also features a new internal taping that helps lift the legs and hips and maintain a more hydrodynamic body position in the water. This reduces drag and makes it easier to maintain proper position during the race.

Extremely light feeling

One of the key features of the Powerskin Air3 is its very low material weight. Arena positions it as the lightest model in the Powerskin line, with a material weight of around 113 g/m². Despite the very light material, the construction provides the necessary compression and stability for competitive swimming. The suit is designed to feel like a second skin, without feeling unnecessarily heavy during the race.
